About Youth Haven

What is Youth Haven

Youth Haven is a private, non-profit organization that has been a leader in the provision of one-of-a-kind programs and services to abused and neglected children and at-risk families since 1972.  Our mission is to “protect abused children and strengthen fragile families.”

Since inception, Youth Haven has provided a safe, healing home for thousands of traumatized children in desperate need of protection – age birth through 14, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, without exception.  We have a beautiful, remote 25-acre campus with charming cottages, lush landscaping, basketball court, bicycle paths, and age-appropriate playgrounds. We remain the only Emergency Shelter for children in Collier County.

While our roots remain grounded in Emergency Shelter care, we continue to be community innovators poised to expand in an effort to meet the ever changing needs of our area’s children and families.  Today, in addition to our Emergency Shelter, we also provide an array of Family Support Services including in-home and community-based parenting education, child and substance abuse prevention, homelessness prevention and crisis intervention services for children and families in the community as well as individual and group mental health counseling for children, adults, couples, and families through our Children & Family Counseling Center. More than 1,600 children and family members are served on an annual basis through the comprehensive continuum of care we provide.

Youth Haven is fully-accredited by the nationally-recognized Council on Accreditation (COA), and is proudly a United Way of Collier County member agency and Naples Children & Education Foundation beneficiary.
