Kim Weisberg, Supervisor

Kim joined Youth Haven in 2007 with five years of clinical experience in community mental health and private practice with children and families. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan.  Contact Kim kim.weisberg@youthhaven.net

Beth Krzyzkowski, MSW – Clinician

Beth is our bilingual Clinician and comes to Youth Haven with an extensive background in Social Services.  She received her B.A. at Smith College in 2000, Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from Florida Atlantic University, and has experience as a Social Work Intern for Early Childhood Wellness Program/Parent Child Center in Riviera Beach, Florida, and as an Outreach Worker for the Domestic Violence Counseling Center.  Beth has strong Spanish speaking skills as well as basic knowledge of French.

Melissa Sarantos, MSW - Clinician

Melissa moved to Naples from Stuart, Florida in March of 2009.  She graduated with a BSW from Florida Atlantic University in December of 2003.  She graduated with an MSW from Florda Atlantic University in May of 2006.  Melissa's experience in the field came from her 5 years working at Hibiscus Children's Center on the Treasure Coast.  At Hibiscus, Melissa had the opportunity to work in a child abuse prevention program, helping at-risk families with case management and parenting skills.  She worked in a diversion and reunification program after that, providing counseling and case management for parents who had their children removed or who were at risk of having their children removed.  Next, she moved to Hibiscus's foster care program.  Melissa became a certified MAPP instructor and taught parenting classes for potential foster and adoptive parents.  She also completed home studies and licensed foster homes.  Melissa moved into the clinical department of Hibiscus after earning her MSW.  She worked at their emergency shelter as a Residential Therapist, providing BHOS (Behavioral Health Overlay Services) to children ages 2-18.  After working in the residential setting for a year and a half, she moved to the Community Mental Health Program, providing TBOS (Therapeutic Behavioral On-site Services) to children in the community.  She was also the Utilization Manager, which consisted of checking Medicaid eligibility, auditing charts, and ensuring the services and documentation met Medicaid and Quality Assurance standards.  Upon moving to Naples, she was employed by Global Youth Services, providing BHOS services at a program for females involved in the Department of Juvenile Justice system.  Melissa joined Youth Haven in October of 2009 as a part-time clinician.

Dr. Frank W. Lehninger, M.D. – Consulting Psychiatrist

Dr. Lehninger was born in Berlin, Germany and spent several years in Frankfurt and Munich.  With his father proudly serving as an Officer with the US Army for over 20 years, Lehninger’s family traveled around the world giving him the opportunity to reside in many states including Georgia, North Carolina, California, Washington, and Florida.  Dr. Lehninger attended medical school at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.  Upon returning to the US, he completed his medical internship at the State University of New York in Buffalo and later completed a psychiatry residency and two fellowships (geriatric and child/adolescent Psychiatry) at the University of South Florida and the University of Florida respectively. 

In addition to working as a staff Psychiatrist at various mental health centers throughout Florida as well as in private practice, Dr. Lehninger is currently the attending Psychiatrist for the MHRC-FACT (Florida Assertive Community Treatment) Program in Naples which offers intensive outpatient psychiatric services to adults with chronic mental illness and consulting Psychiatrist for the Collier County Public Schools.  He holds board certifications in child/adolescent, adult and geriatric Psychiatry and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Florida Psychiatric Society.
