Welcome to Youth Haven

We are proud to be celebrating our 38th continuous year of protecting children and strengthening families in our community.  Youth Haven continues to rapidly grow, beyond many of our dreams.  What started out decades ago as merely a dream by a group of concerned local child advocates as a place where traumatized children could be safe, live in peace, and take back their childhoods, has evolved into a nationally-accredited organization providing child protection, family support, abuse and homelessness prevention and behavioral health services found nowhere else in our community.  The visions and goals we continue to create and achieve each and every year remain tailored around enhancements to our one-of-a-kind services and the continued promise of creating a happy existence for suffering children and families who simply have no other sustainable options for a future together.  

As the only Emergency Shelter for abused and abandoned children in Collier County, we continue to be taken aback by the dramatic range and depth of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse seen in the young children seeking refuge here.  We are acutely aware of the emotional vulnerability of these children and the importance of giving them the necessary tools in which to foster their healing.  I am immensely proud that we are able to provide a warm, loving and safe home, enriching experiences, and the much needed behavioral therapy and psychological counseling for these children, helping them cope and giving them the opportunity to “enjoy” the childhood they have so devastatingly been denied. 

I thank you for taking an interest in learning more about Youth Haven and the vital programs and services we are so privileged to be able to provide to children and families in our community.  It is only through the generosity and kindness of so many child advocates in our community that we can excel at what we do best, providing a secure, emotionally healing home to children and giving caring, dedicated families renewed hope of a fortunate future.
