Become a Holiday Hero This Christmas

Become a Holiday Hero This ChristmasThe Holiday season is a truly special time of year, especially for young ones.  It's a time filled with excitement and anticipation.

For many of the children living with us, this will mark their first traditional holiday experience.  Some have never received a present before.

And, for the hundreds of families we assist in our family support services program who are struggling to just keep a roof over their heads and provide their children with the most basic of necessities, the added stress of trying to provide holiday extras for their children who believe wholeheartedly in the magic of Christmas becomes almost unbearable.

You can help create priceless Christmas memories for children and families in need.

Please join with us as we bring the meaning of the season to our children and families by assisting us in granting their holiday wishes.  (View Youth Haven's Holiday Wish List)

Toys (unwrapped, please) and other holiday wish list items may be dropped off at our campus in East Naples at 5867 Whitaker Road from 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.

Thanksgiving Holiday Food Drive

With the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaching, Youth Haven is seeking community support of our annual Fall food drive in an effort to provide essentials for Thanksgiving holiday meals to the more than 2,400 children and family members served each year in our residential emergency shelter and outreach family support programs.

An unprecedented number of Americans are seeking and receiving emergency food, and Collier County is no exception.  For many of our hard working families, just putting food on the table is a weekly struggle let alone enough for a nutritious Thanksgiving celebration.  Requests for assistance are already pouring in.  Each year we continue to be amazed at the spirit and enthusiasm exhibited by our community as we all come together to give those in need the opportunity to sit down and share in this special moment of thanks with their children.

Now through November 18th, we will be collecting non-perishable food donations as well as gift cards to local grocery stores and other monetary donations to purchase dinner items which will be distributed to our families in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  (View list of suggested items)

Items can be dropped off at our campus in East Naples at 5867 Whitaker Road from 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.
